One of our beloved residents at Villas of Hollybrook, Sarasota, Lois Leavitt has turned 100 years old today August 8, 2025!

From her stories about her world travels as a military spouse, to her years spent as a teacher developing young minds, Lois continues to inspire everyone around with her vibrant spirit and wisdom. Despite the milestone, Lois remains remarkably young at heart—full of life, laughter, and global experiences that span a century. She loves to color. She loves Bingo. She loves to go and have her hair done. She attends all activities and will try anything once. She loves chocolate. She likes to walk. She has a big family. She still attends her son’s church.

Here we are celebrating this milestone with her friends, family, and members of our community.

Did you know salad bar just doesn't mean lettuce, toppings, and dressings. We stock ours with endless selections. Everything from cold sides, to dessert, fresh fruit, and yes the great salad bar traditional things. Sometimes we even have speciality salads!!

It's not a great day but a delicious day as we can smell lunch from outside our community. Garlic chicken thighs, Alfredo noodles, okra and dinner rolls. Our salad bar is stock and a homemade turkey noodles soup is perfect for the gloomy weather.

Pizza pizza pizza!!! Today lunch 4 different types of pizza, Italian veggies and breadsticks with marinara sauce. Along side our all you can eat soup and samas bar.

Not only is it Thursday it's also FRIED CHICKEN DAY!!!! served with corn casserole, green beans and buttered toast. We also have our salad bar and homemade cream of broccoli n rice soup.

Tuesday is still the begging of the week but this week it is also Chinese for lunch. Featuring orange chicken over white rice, steamed broccoli and egg rolls with a sweet n sour sauce. Our featured dessert is a Carmel bread pudding as well.

Here we go. .. Did you know as people move into our community we keep records of all their nutritional needs. Everything from likes to dislikes and more importantly any special diets or allergies. It's our extra step to know everyone on a deeper personal level. Its the part of caring that we take our most pride in!!!
