NOW HIRING: Medical Laboratory Technologist
The Central Pennsylvania Clinic provides comprehensive medical care to people with special needs caused by genetic disorders. The Clinic’s CLIA-certified laboratory researches the natural history of genetic disorders found in our community with the goal of improving diagnostic methods and the efficacy and affordability of treatments.
Position Summary:
We are seeking an individual to fill the role of medical laboratory technologist. Responsibilities include general supervision of the laboratory, operating and maintaining testing equipment, managing specimens, developing new testing protocols, overseeing quality control activities, and record keeping. Full and part-time applicants will be considered.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in medical technology or a life science field required.
• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) preferred.
• Adept at routine lab benchwork and calculations, with ability to exercise good judgment while working independently.
