Giuliana Venables, D.O. Vibrant Osteopathy is a private solo practice established by Dr. Giuliana Venables. Some of our patients are just a few days old!

Dr. Giuliana provides gentle, intuitive hands-on treatments, also known as osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM), including Cranial Sacral treatments. During her career as a family physician, Dr. Giuliana incorporated OMM into her patient care plans. Now, she provides solely OMM that is aligned with or augmented by patients' primary care. Dr. Giuliana treats chronic and acute illnesses, chronic and acute pain, emotional and physical trauma, and provides care for all ages. We would love to see you at Vibrant Osteopathy!

The mouth-airway connection is more powerful than you might think! 🌟

Your mouth's architecture affects everything from how you breathe and swallow to jaw positioning and facial structure. This can cause latching issues in infants and lead to mouth breathing, sleep issues, jaw pain, and neck tension in children and adults.

When your tongue can't properly press against the roof of your mouth to swallow, other muscles compensate - leading to tightness in your neck and jaw.
How osteopathy helps: My completely hands-on, non-invasive treatment adjusts the position of bones in your mouth, jaw, face, and spine to improve this architecture. When needed, I treat specific muscles intra-orally, and patients feel release and openness immediately.

I work closely with a trusted network of dentists and myofunctional therapists because this team approach creates the most comprehensive results. Myofunctional therapy trains your tongue and facial muscles to work optimally, while osteopathy ensures the structural foundation supports these improvements. I am passionate about spreading the word about the incredible benefits of osteopathy. Here's a transformation story that warmed my heart.

A 4-year-old on the autism spectrum came in for an emergency appointment due to heightened dysregulation. Her nervous system was clearly overwhelmed and she was highly reactive. After 30 minutes of targeted treatment, her mom pointed out her child's mood shift and behavior: this same little girl was now speaking softly to herself, calmly putting on her shoes, and peacefully saying goodbye.

Her nervous system had found balance again.

Did you know that Osteopathic Manual Medicine can help little ones with breastfeeding challenges?

Often baby's tongue is not strong enough or tethered down by what is known as a tongue tie. This condition is commonly caused by a mild compression of the cranial nerves that control baby's tongue. Dr. Venables will manually release the compression, helping baby latch on and feed comfortably.
