What makes us different?
Tranquil Gardens Adult Family Home has been created in culmination of its owner’s experience & passion for geriatric care. She recognized that something was missing in many of the Assisted Living, Long Term Care, and Adult Family Home facilities that she has seen throughout her 10 year nursing career. Even before she became a nurse, she saw her Lolo & Lola in nursing homes that she wished had the resources to provide better care and provide a better quality of life to their residents.
Pam understands that our current population is dramatically aging, that there is a higher prevalence of dementia & chronic illnesses, and an increased need for quality healthcare with decreasing resources. More and more adult children and spouses are becoming full-time caregivers to their loved ones. This is admirable but not sustainable as it is physically & emotionally draining.
Opening her FIRST adult family home enables her to help at least six residents live their best lives & she hopes to eventually expand in order to enhance the lives of even more older-adults.
