As a physician, I’ve been reflecting on how AI and I differ.

AI holds far more information than my human brain ever could. But diagnosis isn’t about who knows more — it’s about combining subjective and objective findings, supported by exams, bloodwork, and imaging to confirm the diagnosis.

AI only receives what you tell it. It cannot observe your complexion, posture, perform physical exams and validate. Without objective data, conclusions can easily drift, and the real root cause may stay hidden.

Many chronic conditions persist not because patients don’t try, but because the true cause was never found. Wrong treatment directions.

AI can assist doctors, but it cannot replace the human ability to see, examine, and interpret. My brain is limited, but my perception isn’t — and that perception often leads us more quickly to the root and the right direction for healing.

🌿 If a form of medicine has lasted over 4,000 years, it’s because it works.
Acupuncture has been practiced across cultures and generations for one simple reason: people feel the difference.

Over the years, I’ve heard patients say things like:
• “My headache is gone.”
• “My pain disappeared.”
• “I feel reborn.”
• “I’m so relaxed.”
• “My memory feels sharper.”

And I’ve experienced its power myself — including recovering quickly from colds and flus that didn’t respond to antibiotics. When the body’s energy pathways open and the nervous system resets, healing can happen in ways that surprise even the most skeptical minds.

Acupuncture is gentle, time‑tested, and deeply intelligent.
It works with your body, not against it.

✨ Give this ancient, long‑lasting medicine a try.
Your body may respond in ways you didn’t expect — and deeply needed.

🌿 A health problem never comes from just one place.
It can be physical, physiological, or mental‑emotional — and often a combination of all three.

When someone comes to see me, I put on my detective hat.
I carefully rule in and rule out possibilities such as:
• Structural imbalance
• Inflammation
• Infection
• Stress
• Trauma
• Lifestyle patterns
…because every layer tells part of the story.

Some issues are structural and respond beautifully to gentle osseous manipulation — sometimes pain shifts in seconds to minutes.
Other times, acupuncture is the key that unlocks the body’s healing response.

And of course, there are cases where imaging, bloodwork, supplements, or medications are necessary.

✨ I am privileged to have all the advanced tools needed to diagnose and treat — and to choose the right approach for each unique person.

Healing is never one‑size‑fits‑all.
My work is to understand the root, select the right tool, and support the body’s natural ability to restore balance.

In medicine, I don’t chase symptoms — I trace the root, and I treat the root.
When your nervous system and immune system are no longer carrying hidden burdens, the body often begins to heal on its own. Sometimes even without medication.

This is the heart of naturopathic, functional, and integrative medicine:
✨ Remove the obstacles to cure
✨ Support the body’s natural intelligence
✨ Allow the system to realign and repair

Your body is not broken.
It just needs the right conditions to heal.

Today, someone walked in with two years of problem, had received injections, surgery and medications for 2 years. Told me he also received lots of bloodwork and images. I asked, “did those help?“ No. 🤦‍♀️
After an hour, he is convinced to let me drew his blood and order the appropriate MRI to confirm my DDX. 🤓

The forest wears moss as dampness deepens—just as our bodies reflect the soil within

To treat is to remove moss or change the soil, but in this case, it’s impossible in this environment. Perhaps greenhouse: ideal light, water, soil and TLC.

💊 Magnesium: Miracle Mineral or Hidden Risk? Magnesium is essential for muscles, nerves, and energy — but did you know the wrong form or too much can actually make you sick?

A patient with GERD, HTN, OA with recent medical history: UTI and Covid complained about severe fatigue, brain fog, dizziness, diarrhea, and cramps… after a thorough intake and exam, with a review of medication, supplements and diet. Turned out, "2 scoops of magnesium a day!" was the culprit. Overdosing supplements they thought were “ok.” More isn’t always better.

👉 Glycinate and malate are gentle. Citrate works too, but can loosen stools. Each has its ideal function.
👉 Always consult doctors to check the dosage and form. Know why you need it and what you are treating for
👉 If the problem is GI absorption, over dosing supplement can cause more burden

✨ Supplements can help — but only when used wisely. Use smart, live healthy, and don’t let “yummy powders” turn into health problems.

From the mist of a mountain waterfall to the stillness of a forested lake, and the serene mineral Hot Springs — each moment reminds us that nature’s waters hold space for reflection, renewal, and release. Whether wrapped in mineral warmth or breathing in ionic mist, we return to ourselves through the gentle power of flow.

🌿 Reflections from ND's Practice 🌿

A patient came in with a bad infection that had lasted a month. When I asked why she hadn’t taken antibiotics, she replied: “I thought you wouldn’t recommend them.”

I explained: “No. That’s incorrect. Your treatment is based on overall assessment. I would have recommended antibiotics to you 3 weeks ago. I have many medical treatment options, and I don’t limit care to herbs or supplements. My goal is always try to find the root cause and choose the best solution for each individual.”

Years ago, another patient came in requesting herb and acupuncture for mild abdominal pain. After few minutes intake and a physical exam, I ordered an X-ray and sent her to the ER immediately. No acupuncture or herbs! She required an emergency surgery for an acute mesenteric ischemia.

Being a doctor is not easy. Each case demands responsibility, discernment, and compassion. I hold myself to the highest standards because patients deserve nothing less.
