Robert Fitters: My DNA Journey

Robert Fitters: My DNA Journey This is a page to promote my blog about my discovery and journey in genetic DNA. This is my journey to discovering a family's history without the family's help.

I was able to prove paternity to my biological father by using Ancestry.com and 23a&me. ABOUT THIS BLOG
My DNA Journey to Prove Paternity is a personal blog about family and genetic genealogy. I was born before DNA and paternity testing were available. Although there was no question about my paternity, my biological father was able to take advantage of the fact that paternity could not be proven a

t the time and decided to deny paternity as a way to get out of responsibilities and child support. He went so far as to move away. Out of sight, out of mind. Or so he thought. 45 years later DNA became a popular way to legally prove paternity. Using popular commercial DNA testing sites such as ancestry.com and 23andMe, I was able to prove paternity so that he could no longer deny it. This is my journey. This is my story. And this is my truth. I hope to help others who have been in the same predicament. I also have this blog on a popular blog site with over 400 followers if you'd rather follow that one. Make no mistake-I do not want any type of relationship with my biological father. I just refuse to be his dirty little secret. So I will share my experiences with others in the same situation.
