Learn about a rare event called (commotion cordis) caused by a blow to the chest region of the heart with a blunt object in sports that can result in ventricular fibrillation that leads to sudden death. CPR will be needed for circulation and the use of AED automated external defibrillator will be needed to reset the heart.
