The residents wanted to have one of the trees left up and would like them to be decorated for different holidays each month. So we left the tree up in the front lobby for residents and families to enjoy. The residents said they like to sit up there with there families and visit and look at the beautiful decorations for the holidays.

The residents and staff brought in the New Year with a Nooner’s Eve Party. We listened to Old Lang Syne song, had a countdown and a toast. That was followed up with some fingerfoods, desserts, cheese tray with crackers, lots of decorations and conversations of the things they all used to do for New Year’s. Places they would go, the outfits they would wear and who they spent their time with. We enjoyed the great memories made and time shared together!
