We shipped 10 units of platelets to support Minnesota hospitals yesterday in the wake of the mass shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church. We mourn with the people of Minneapolis over this horrific tragedy.

As part of the Blood Emergency Readiness Corp (BERC), Bloodworks and other community blood centers are on standby this week to ensure no patient goes without lifesaving blood. We were able to respond immediately because of the many donors who came forward when our local supply fell low this month.

Thank you to our generous community of donors for sharing this commitment to maintaining a healthy blood and platelet supply for our local community and beyond.
