I will be having two cataract surgeries before Christmas which will limit my time in the candy kitchen. So as a heads up…. No orders after Dec 10 with all pick ups and deliveries by Dec. 14th. These are not major surgeries but will take away some of my energy. On the positive side I should be able to see what I am doing better!!!

So this is our first sample of The CandyDepot’s Version of Dubai Chocolate… now how to package and then to figure out the price…. most of the ingredients needed to be specially ordered so that will determine the price. The gold leafing is edible.

Support The Animal House tomorrow at their Bake Sale which will take place from 11-1 at Bassett’s. St. Paul’s and The Candy Depot dropped off a supply of Walking S’mores for this sale. We are blessed here in Bellevue to have this organization! We dropped them off this afternoon and Bob promised not to eat any!

Chocolate Covered Strawberries are waiting to be picked up and we are waiting for some naps! Happy Valentine’s Day everyone… next up are the drama productions and then EASTER! Better get our naps in now!

In a recent email from our chocolate supplier it was stated that the chocolate prices had increased by 129 percent this last year…. Our chocolate covered strawberries are the same price as last year! Just maybe we really like our customers…. Ok we really do like our customers! Orders for chocolate covered strawberries is due today by 5:00 pm.

Wednesday, February 12th at 5:00 pm will be the deadline for anyone ordering strawberries for Valentine’s Day. Pick up will be on Friday. Strawberries are $20 per dozen.. you select mixture, dark, milk, or white chocolate. Thanks. FYI all of the profits will go directly to our Historic Church, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.

Just a reminder, strawberries have a short shelf life and DO NOT refrigerate.

The Candy Depot will be selling traditional and seasonal chocolate candy as well as St. Paul’s Cheeseballs on Sunday one hour after the All American Song Fest which starts at 5:00 this Sunday at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. This concert should be finished around 6:00 pm. You do not need to attend the concert to stop in and buy some treats. You also can place an order for the upcoming holidays. All money collected goes to this Historic Episcopal Church.
