Hands of Heartland is excited to announce that Jennifer Meints has been promoted to Education Services Director.

In this new position, Jennifer will lead the expansion of our education services in all states that Hands of Heartland operates. She has served as the Community Outreach Director in Nebraska and is a dedicated advocate for HOH's mission and individuals with disabilities.

We look forward to seeing her excel in this new role.

The changing weather won't stop Hands of Heartland! We're volunteering in support of local organizations throughout the state, offering new training courses to community members, and have opened a new location in Ord, NE. Read all about it in the new issue of the Hands of Heartland Newsletter.

Hands of Heartland is excited to announce the promotion of Erin Ruskamp to Employment Services Director.

Erin previously served as the Area Director in Lincoln, Nebraska, and will now lead our employment programs in all states in which HOH operates. She began her career at HOH leading Lincoln's employment services and grew that program into the state's leading employment service for people with developmental disabilities.

We look forward to expanding our employment services across multiple states under Erin's leadership.

We are excited to announce the launch of the HOH Community Training Academy! Classes are open to local businesses, community members and IDD providers. Courses include CPR/First Aid/AED and Mandt 3.0 RCT which is taught weekly.

We'll be holding a donation drive in Grand Island to support Willow Rising, an organization that provides support services for victims of domestic violence. Drop off donations Nov. 17-24 from 8am-4pm.

Participants from Hands of Heartland in Grand Island were awarded the "Volunteer Group of the Year" at Willow Rising’s Empowerment Ally Breakfast & Award Ceremony. Willow Rising is an organization that works with individuals impacted by domestic and sexual violence by providing safety, support, education, and survivor empowerment.
