Ann is a graduate-level counseling intern pursuing her Master’s degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology: Prevention and Treatment at the University of Washington. She is currently completing her clinical training at Polaris Family Behavioral Health, where she provides therapy under supervision to individuals facing a range of mental health challenges. Ann has a special interest in treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and is training in evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). She brings experience working with children in school settings, including those with behavioral challenges and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Ann is passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and affirming space for adolescents and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. She also offers therapy services in Korean.

Michelle is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate who earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University. In her clinical training she worked with early adolescents, teens, and young adults in a variety of settings including schools, outpatient, and telehealth.

She specializes in treating OCD, anxiety, and depression through the use of evidence-based practices including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention). Michelle also holds special interest in working with clients who are dealing with eating disorders and body image related issues, as well as those with addictive behaviors.

Michelle’s approach to therapy is person-centered and strengths based. She loves to create a fun, calm, and safe place that the client can learn to build confidence and self-advocate for themselves. She also loves working with and communicating with families to discover how best to support the client in all types of settings.

Emma is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University. She has over 5 years of clinical experience in both community mental health and private practice settings working with all ages.

Emma specializes in working with adolescent and adult clients struggling with anxiety, OCD, trauma, relational concerns, and depression. She is a trauma-informed, affirming provider for LGTBQIA+ individuals and views recognition of how sociocultural systems impact individuals as imperative to an effective counseling process.

Emma views the therapy process as a collaboration and aims to ensure her clients feel empowered in sessions. She uses a person-centered model of therapy to best conceptualize her client’s subjective needs before tailoring evidence-based interventions including ERP, CBT, and DBT to support their individualized mental health goals.
