HomeTown Pharmacy developed from a simple desire:
Bring together the personalized service of independently-owned community pharmacies with the bargaining power and efficiencies of a larger corporation.
The founders both started out working for a national chain upon graduation from college. They each moved on to purchase their own pharmacies, with the support of their father. Both came to realize the necessity of growth for future survival and the importance of patient-driven, community pharmacy.
In 1996, after much planning, they purchased Gobles Pharmacy and thus HomeTown Pharmacy was born. Today, HTP operates over 40 pharmacies in MI and IN including retail, long-term care, home infusion, specialty, and compounding locations.
