We are in network with Cigna as a lactation specialist for breastfeeding families.
Cigna considers lactation consultations as preventative care, so we encourage 6 visits per pregnancy/baby. This includes prenatal and postpartum visits. Mom is covered 100%, never a copay or a deductible. Each member is approved for six separate consults per pregnancy, whether virtual, in-office or in-home. Any other lactation consultations or classes that mom may have received from any providers other than Wildflower, will not count as one of these 6 visits. If a patient requires more than 6 visits due to medical need or only Baby has coverage, Wildflower can be flexible so please reach out to Wildflower for approval.

Since 2005, the Chinese Ministry of Health has classified the human placenta as medical waste and prohibited its trade. In 2015, Ziheche (human placenta) was removed from the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, and it has not been reinstated in subsequent editions.

It is important to note that removal from the Pharmacopoeia only means it is no longer recognized as a legally approved medicinal substance, but it does not equate to a complete legal ban on its use. Currently, the processing of placenta capsules lacks unified and strict virus screening standards, posing significant safety risks. Human placenta may carry viruses with potential infection hazards.

To this day, the consumption and use of human placenta in China remain in a legal gray area. #西雅图

It’s not just about appearance. Some parents may think, once baby’s hair grows out, flat head will be “hardly noticeable. Some studies suggest that children with flat heads need to be monitored for developmental delays or speech delays.

The skull deformities may contribute to headaches, migraines, painful teething, jaw and dental problems.

It is therefore recommended that treatment takes place as early as possible, in order to restore normal head shape.
