We’re excited to share that Nisan Harel has been appointed as our new Chief Executive Officer!
Nisan is familiar to many, as his 17 years at Era Living have included community leadership as Executive Director and most recently as Chief Operating Officer. A 75th wedding anniversary is a rare milestone indeed! Through their lives together, residents Bob and Eleanor Marum have built a legacy of educational leadership, adventure, and community activism. Bonded by Seahawks football, political debates, and good wine, their family is inspired to "love deeply and laugh often." We were honored to host a celebration of their lives together. Happy diamond anniversary, Bob and Eleanor!

Our current art exhibition, "Changing Seasons," continues and includes the beautiful "Peruvian Lilies." Artist Madeline Nelson says, "One of the joys of Peruvian lilies is how long they last as cut flowers, which makes them a perfect subject for a leisurely still life painter like myself. Their supporting cast in this bouquet were tulips, visible to the right in the painting, in the state tulips often are after a day or two indoors—straining towards the light, quietly dropping petals."

Our art exhibition, "Changing Seasons," is on display now! Shown here is Krister Eide's "Taking Wing," beautifully portraying transformation and wisdom. Krister paints in order to capture some of the beauty and awe in nature - but also to increase awareness of remarkable animals that are endangered or at-risk.

We hope you were able to attend our fabulous opening gala for "Changing Seasons!" Luckily, this beautiful art exhibition will be on display until March 15. Take a look at "Reflections In Gold" from Denise Richards of Snohomish. "This work layers a Northwest landscape palette, illuminated by hints of gold. Light and shadow move across the abstracted landscape, and the natural texture draws the viewer into a quiet, meditative space. The piece is set in a walnut floating frame giving the painting a modern aesthetic."
