A female patient receiving cupping from a female physician*. The locations of the cups would suggest the treatment is for a gynaecological condition.
Note: it was a certain Greek Hippocratic writer way back circa 4th century BC - among the authors who contributed to what was later compiled to become the collection (corpus) attributed to Hippocrates - who first, as far as we know, recommended a cup be applied under the breast (bilaterally) to draw/pull back blood loss due to excessive menstruation. Interestingly that makes the location close-by, if not directly over Qi Men 期 門 (liver 14) - making it important for clearing heat, stasis and regulating the blood.
