Firelands Health The Bellevue Hospital will host a Ladies’ Morning Out Health Fair on Saturday, May 2, from 8–11 a.m. at 1400 W. Main St., Bellevue.

Bring your mom, sisters or friends and enjoy a morning focused on health and well-being. This event features free health screenings, wellness resources, refreshments, door prizes and a grand prize drawing, along with additional screenings and community partners.

After nearly four decades of dedication, compassion, and care, Linda Van D**e is retiring from Firelands Health The Bellevue Hospital.

Linda began her journey in 1985 in the Main Station Café kitchen, then followed her passion into the operating room—serving as a scrub tech, advancing to a registered nurse, and ultimately finishing her remarkable career as a registered nurse first assistant.

Along the way, Linda became known for her kindness, strong work ethic, and unwavering commitment to others. The impact she’s made on patients, visitors, and her fellow team members is truly lasting—and deeply felt throughout the Bellevue community.

We are incredibly grateful for the years she has devoted to caring for others. Linda, you will be greatly missed, and we wish you all the best in your well-earned retirement.

Tamra Hay started at Firelands Health The Bellevue Hospital in 1979 as a candy striper and, after decades of compassionate care, is retiring.

Tamra became a registered nurse in the med/surg unit in 1987. In 1990, she moved to the Family Birthing Center, where she helped care for countless patients and families.

Known for her kindness, dedication, and strong work ethic, Tamra has made a lasting impact on patients, visitors, and colleagues. Her care for others has helped shape the Bellevue community.

We are grateful for the many years she devoted to serving others. Tamra will be deeply missed, and we wish her all the best in a well-deserved retirement.

After 14 years of dedicated service in Nutritional Services, Brenda Carbary has officially retired from Firelands Health The Bellevue Hospital.

Brenda has been a dependable and friendly presence, known for her strong work ethic and the care she put into serving patients, visitors, and staff. Her kindness and commitment have made a meaningful impact on the hospital community.

Earlier this year, we celebrated Brenda’s retirement and the contributions she’s made over the years. While she will be greatly missed, we are excited for her as she begins this next chapter.
