Being a mom shaped her future. Camilla Som became a mom while still in high school—and began training at Dialysis Education Services around the same time. This story is nothing short of inspiring, and I’m truly honored to have crossed paths with this man. In the past year and a half, sitting down with soldiers like him, Marc, Justin, Jimmy, and Walid has taught me more about resilience, purpose, and humanity than I ever imagined possible in my lifetime. Their journeys and your work are a testament to the incredible impact one person can have on this world.
