Meet Sheila (she/her), Nurse Practitioner + Certified Nurse Midwife at Spectrum.

She brings over a decade of experience in reproductive and gender-affirming care—and a deep commitment to whole-person, trauma-informed support across the lifespan. 💛

After years in big healthcare systems, Sheila came to Spectrum looking for something better: a place where patient autonomy, trust, and therapeutic care come first. She’s found that here—and we’re so lucky to have her.

Her clinical background includes midwifery, gynecology, STI care, menopause, early pregnancy options, and gender-affirming care. She’s also a proud member of the Menopause Society and WPATH, and recently attended the UCSF National Transgender Health Summit to continue expanding her knowledge and commitment.

When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find her skiing, climbing, biking, trail running, gardening, or gently escorting spiders back outside as our Chief Arachnid Relocation Officer. 🕷️

Meet Carmina (she/her), our Office Manager + the heart of our clinic operations.

With over a decade of experience in healthcare and a passion for community service, Carmina’s the reason everything runs smoothly around here (and why your insurance questions get answered like magic).

Originally from New York and now a proud Bellingham local, Carmina brings deep expertise in billing, insurance, and patient coordination—always with warmth, care, and justice at the center.

When she’s not holding down the fort at Spectrum, she’s parenting like a pro and advocating for underserved communities. From adoption services to DV shelters, her background is all about making care more accessible for everyone.

At Spectrum, we’re not interested in offering “good enough” care. We want you to feel 80–100% better—not just halfway there. And that takes attention between visits, not just during them.

This model lets us show up fully for our patients—while protecting access, honoring our team’s time, and keeping the care personal.

She’s a former Labor & Delivery Nurse who’s all about radically patient-centered care and bringing that same energy to Spectrum. 💛

With a nursing degree from Gonzaga and a heart for inclusive, empowering care, Hadley is here to radically support you during times of significant change.

When she’s not at Spectrum, she’s studying to become a Family Nurse Practitioner and soaking up outdoor adventures with her pups, her partner, and their amazing chosen fam.
