Happy New Year from Sean Humphrey House! We are entering 2026 with gratitude for the many, many people who have made our Karen Durham House project a reality, most recently our dear friends at Axton Automotive, Industrial Credit Union, Rumors Cabaret, and Chuckanut Health Foundation, who helped us close out the end of the year with a bang🎉🎉!

Donations to the KDH project now go straight to the finish line (bring it home!) and staffing and licensing - spread the word if you can, and Happy New Year and new beginnings to all! 🎉🎊🎉❤️

Check out our new digs at the KDH, and cross your fingers for luck with inspections these next few weeks! ❤️😬 Also, we need a piano bench. Anyone? 😂

We are sorry to share that our beloved Miss Daisy 🌼 passed over the rainbow bridge to join her sister, Sitka, last night. Words can't express how much both of them were loved. Daisy was the sweetest door-greeter, hallway monitor and treat solicitor, and a quiet companion who even checked in on one of our residents in his room just before she laid down for one last nap. We are so grateful to their previous family (Steve Reed and Robin Smiley) for sharing them with our house, and giving our residents a chance to live with the love of such good dogs in their home.

Rest in peace and we wish you endless treats, Daisy.❤️🐾🌼🌈

So grateful to be a part of another amazing Bellingham Pride parade! We didn't get many pictures, but would love to see any you got! Thank you SO MUCH to our amazing staff who walked with us, prepped and drove the truck, ferried participants back and forth, supported residents who wanted to participate, and held down the fort at home. It's an amazing team, around here. 😍
