Last minute shopping!
We are clearing out all the old and weird and fun things, if you'd like a part of the Asp & Hand archive, now is your time!
All proceeds still go to help Blair with her recovery, and we'd love to see you share in the archiving process of our crazy adventure. If it's too expensive, send us a dm! And we'll be lowering the prices in the coming weeks so you won't be able to resist.

messy but beautiful!
i'm picking up the last pieces and shipping out the last few objects. there are still some more objects on the site, all funds still go towards blair's recovery.
the furnace is cold, and i won't be able to fire it up again. if we didn't get to your objects, we will give you a total refund. sorry it's all so confusing and painful, but that's life these days i suppose.
if you're interested in some extreme deals on decent functional glass equipment, contact me. i'm getting rid of all the things, got a lot of great jewels for a 20 year plan, but my 20 year plan done changed.

We have inventory from our seconds and one-offs on our website. There are a lot of great and weird things on there! Lots of things have already sold, so go look if you're interested. We are documenting everything and hoping to get it into your hands for safe keeping. Thank you for being part of this process!
Our is still live, we are doing everything we can to help Blair have the best cancer experience possible. I've posted updates there if you want to know what's going on. Link in bio.
We have a team at the shop working to fill the last orders before we shut down. I won't be blowing glass for a while, I am focused on the family right now. Love y'all!

Thank you all for your support! With Blair's upcoming surgery, we are making a lot of changes. We are finishing up all the back orders, but we aren't taking anymore new orders. We will sell the remaining funky vases, cups, horses, blob lobs and ashtrays via our website. We are photographing and thoroughly documenting each object now. These are the final parts of this conceptual art project that Blair conceived of in her healing bed during her first treatment. It's time to finish this project and release all the objects. Everything will be available until the new year, and then we'll archive the remaining pieces and liquidate glassblowing our equipment. If you're looking for equipment, get in touch!
I wish I had different news, but I can't afford to run this shop without me there, and I need to be there for Blair now. If you're interested in my art (lolz), I will also be clearing out my art studio and not producing sculpture anymore.

December 2016!
I made these cups from drawings Blair made while she went through treatment in upstate New York in 2016. She would draw in bed, and I would run down to Urban Glass or Brooklyn Glass in NYC for a blow day and come back with these sketches in glass.
Sorry about those color choices, Blair, I see what you mean now, there *might* be a difference between colors.

I'm sorting through our weird inventory, and I got a count of some of the fun stuff we have. I've had a lot of inquiries about funding, so I put it up on the website in different tiers if you want to help support Blair's surgery and recovery and get a piece of Asp & Hand history.

REAL LIFE UPDATE
Blair's cancer has returned in her throat, so she'll be stepping back from her duties here at Asp & Hand. There will be a big surgery and a big recovery, so she's going to focus her efforts there.
We are still finishing up orders from spring and summer, my capacity to produce has been limited because my workload has doubled at work and at home. But I still love making all these beautiful objects that Blair designed, and we still love sharing with you! If you ordered earlier this year and haven't received your shipment yet, I'll be sending those out in November.
I am going to open holiday orders soon, but for only a couple limited objects (a new Spritz in white, the Goth Wish Kit and The Last Straw). I won't start producing these until the end of November, but if you want something from us for the holiday, now is the time to get in line. No guarantees I'll actually ship it by whatever holiday you need it by, but I can guarantee it will be beautiful and contain magic properties.

josh just appeared like a vision in the sky with this piece, and it is a much needed warm hug of support as we work very hard to find a way to keep our furnaces burning for and with yall. the sheer mass of faith this endeavor takes is barfy and crushing at times tbh…but rn our faith is flying around in the trees like a couple of blue birds.
