Lemperes Family Dentistry is looking for a Dental Hygienist for a 2-3 days per week position as we continue to grow our practice.

Offering $62-$72 per hour based upon hours worked, benefits package, and experience. Medical, dental, vision package as well as PTO and 8 paid holidays.

We also provide paid CE and professional development opportunities throughout the year to enhance your knowledge and skills.

Primary Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with a team of dental professionals to ensure quality patient care
-Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations on patients
-Educate patients on preventive care, the oral-systemic link
-Take radiographs, panoramic images and assist with intra oral photos to aid diagnosis
-Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation and update patient health history info
-Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies

Qualification Requirements:
-Current WA RDH license in good standing with ability to use LA and N20
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to educate patients about their oral health
-Know dental terminology and understand common dental practices and procedures
-Experience with Dentrix and Dexis software preferred
-Able to work positively and professionally within a team environment
-One year or more of prior hygiene and periodontal care experience preferred but not required. New graduates encouraged to apply. Our experienced team is ready to come alongside and provide additional support and training to help you succeed!

Please join us in welcoming Dr Ute Collins to our team! Dr. Collins graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. She has practiced in a variety of settings over the last 24 years including the United States Air Force, a public health clinic, and then has spent the last 17 years in private practice. Taking good care of her patients and educating them about their oral health is very important to Dr. Collins, and she enjoys attending continuing education courses to stay current in dentistry. She lives in Anacortes with her husband Charlie and two dogs, Dory and Gus. Her interests outside of dentistry include hiking, cranking out miles on her Peloton, learning how to golf, and of course, cheering on the Huskies.
