Bellingham Family Eye Clinic Annual Christmas Party held at the local Latitude Cafe.
Every year, we look forward to this annual event because it allows us the opportunity to hang with coworkers and enjoy some good food, fellowship and gifts.

Today December 3, 2019 is NATIONAL DAY OF GIVING

National Day of Giving encourages everyone to give back and It takes place the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.
This day reminds us to give to those less fortunate. Whether we look to our favorite causes or charities, it’s a great reminder to lift others up during a generous time of the year. On the Tuesday after Thanksgiving people around the world will come together for one common purpose and that is to celebrate generosity and to give. Here at Bellingham Family Eye Clinic, we encourage everyone to donate their old Frames to the Lions Club. Come by at our office and fill our donation box with your old Eye glasses.

Another awesome Doctor joining our growing practice and he is a native of Bellingham, Washington.

Dr. Denis Holmes operated a private Optometry practice for 31 years here in Bellingham. Recently, he moved back to Bellingham after a four-year work opportunity in Spokane.
He is a graduate, with distinction, of Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon.
He is a past president of the Optometric Physicians of Washington, an affiliate state organization of the American Optometric Association.
He is a past president of the Bellingham Central Lions Club, and he helped set up a free clinic in Bellingham coordinated between the Lions, the Lighthouse Mission Ministries, and local Optometric Physicians.
In his free time Dr. Holmes enjoys photography, boating, and mountain biking with his
wife, Sandra.

We are so happy to welcome Dr. Riya Paranthan as part of our growing practice.

Dr. Riya Paranthan attended the University of Kentucky, and graduated Magna Cum Laude, Bachelors in Biology with high honors in 2010. During her time in Kentucky, she was involved in extensive Ophthalmology research at the University of Kentucky medical hospital and authored multiple papers in Molecular Vision and the Journal of Biological Chemistry. She was the recipient of the Diachun Award for outstanding research at the time. Thereafter, she received her Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2014. She was a National Liason at her local chapter of AOSA. Her externships included 6 months of training with a focus on Ocular disease at the VA hospital in North Carolina. During her tenure with National Vision, she was elected to serve as their National Ambassador in 2018.
