If you want a better life, you’re going to have to get familiar with discomfort.
Change is uncomfortable. Growth is uncomfortable. Expansion is uncomfortable.
And also… staying stuck is uncomfortable too.
Discomfort is often the conduit.
The doorway.
The initiation.
The work is not avoiding discomfort.
The work is trusting your survivability inside of it.
Trusting that you can feel uncertain, stretched, wobbly, exposed, and still be okay.
Trusting that you can sit in the in-between without abandoning yourself.
Trusting that you can survive the process long enough to become who you are meant to be.
If you are unwilling to sit in discomfort, you are choosing familiarity over fulfillment.
And if you are willing, everything can change.
And as someone who has sat in a lot of discomfort, trust me… it is absolutely worth it.
