How the right 20 minutes a day with your Loved One can make everything easier for you.

1. Do this with your LO before noon.
2. Get oxygen going: Gentle arm stretches, relax face/ tongue
3. Breathing/yawn exercise
4. Vocal exercises (sighs on notes, diaphragm exercise, scale)
5. Sing the songs they love with them (print out music/chords, help by cueing starting words for each difficult line, over-enunciate, hand gestures). Use a guitar of keyboard, if possible.
6. Make a list of every song that you observe is their favorite.
7. After every 3 songs encourage conversation. Bring out old photographs. Talk about favorite singers from their day.
8. If conversation doesn’t work then walk them or push them around for a few minutes.
