🌸💐 Celebrating Mother’s Day at Highland 💐🌸

Today, we hosted a beautiful Mother’s Day Lunch to honor the incredible mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures who make our community so special. Residents and their families gathered to enjoy a delicious meal, share sweet memories, and celebrate the love and strength that mothers bring into our lives every single day.

The dining room was filled with laughter, hugs, and happy tears as generations came together to cherish this meaningful day. We were honored to provide a warm and welcoming space where families could relax, reconnect, and reflect on all the ways moms have shaped our lives.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing staff who helped make the day extra special with thoughtful details, beautiful decorations, and, of course, plenty of love.

Spirit Week is in full swing here at Highland, and today we had a blast celebrating Twin Day!

From matching T-shirts to coordinated accessories and playful look-alike outfits, our staff really got into the spirit of the day. It was heartwarming to see so many smiling faces, creative duos, and lots of laughter as everyone embraced the fun of "twinning."

These themed days aren’t just about dressing alike—they’re about building connection, lifting spirits, and creating joyful moments that remind us just how strong and vibrant our community truly is. Twin Day brought a little extra sparkle to the halls of Highland today, and we loved every second of it!

🐮🐐🐓 Farm Friends on a Mission! 🐷🐰🐴

Yesterday was utterly amazing! Our favorite furry and feathered friends from the farm came by for a special visit—and let's just say, the smiles were contagious.

Our residents got to cuddle with the bunnies, pet a gentle goat, brush a pony, and even chat with a chicken. There's something truly magical about animal therapy—the calm, the joy, the connection.

Laughter filled the air, hearts felt lighter, and for a moment, everyone was transported to a simpler place filled with love.

Thank you to Animals As Natural Therapy for bringing the farm to us. We can’t wait for the next visit! 🐾
