🤍Join us for a special weekend celebrating the culmination of BYC’s fall/winter 200-hour Teacher Training program!

Our graduating teacher trainees will be instructing a series of FREE classes showcasing their proficiency in leading Vinyasa and Hatha Flow styles.

Classes will be taught in a round-robin format, offering a seamless experience as 3-4 graduates take turns guiding you through the session.

Meet the four faces of the heart 🤍

In Buddhist teachings, the Brahma Viharas are known as the “four immeasurables”—inner qualities that shape how we relate to ourselves, one another, and the world around us. Like a compass, they offer steady
orientation in the midst of change.

✨ Metta — loving-kindness
✨ Karuna — compassion
✨ Mudita — joy for another’s joy
✨ Upekkha — equanimity

At the heart of this five-week series is a gentle, powerful inquiry:
How do I face this from my heart?

Through thoughtfully sequenced asana, guided mindfulness, and space for reflection, Liza will lead you in embodying each of these qualities—feeling them in your body, observing them in your mind, and noticing how they ripple into your relationships and daily life.

This is a practice of presence and integration. A chance to cultivate resilience, connection, and ease—not as abstract ideas, but as lived experience, on and off the mat.

👉This offering is open to everyone—no background in yoga philosophy required. For those in advanced training programs: this series also offers 10 contact hours + 5 non-contact hours applicable toward asana and philosophy requirements.

As spring unfolds and the days grow brighter, let’s move into the season with intention🌿

Spring is nature’s invitation to gently wake up — to shake off heaviness, make space, and reconnect with what’s ready to grow. This class is about soft renewal: slowing down enough to notice what you need, while supporting your body’s natural return to energy and ease.

We’ll start with a cozy restorative yoga practice to help your body unwind, then ease into a full yoga nidra — a guided “yogic sleep” meditation that melts away stress and helps you reconnect with yourself on a deeper level.
