APPOINTS NEW HEALTH & WELLNESS DIRECTOR, TRACI WAISS

FLORENCE, OREGON (October 28, 2022) – Spruce Point Assisted Living and Memory Care, a premiere assisted living community situated within the beautiful coastal town of Florence, Oregon, has appointed Traci Waiss as its new Health & Wellness Director. Bringing with her more than two decades of extensive healthcare experience, in this capacity, Traci is now able to utilize her extensive medical knowledge and expertise to ensure each resident is well cared for and living their best lives through direct clinical oversight and leadership.

Prior to her arrival at Spruce Point, Traci was most recently a Dialysis Area Team Lead for four years.

“We are very excited to have Traci transition her depth of healthcare knowledge to Spruce Point,” said Nicole Saunders, Executive Director of Spruce Point Assisted Living and Memory Care. “She has already proven to be an incredibly valuable addition to our care team, and we are all excited to see how our residents and staff elevate under her leadership and guidance.”

Traci received her initial start in healthcare as an EMT in the Washington DC area while she worked through high school and college. She then tested for and obtained her LPN to begin her nursing career, only to complete her degree with her RN later that same year. Traci worked mainly in Hospice in Oncology until moving to the west coast and taking on the Health Services Director position at Spruce Point, which she held from 2014-2017.
