"I’ve been practicing off and on since my early teens. Yoga helps me stay mindful and present. I appreciate the physical/mental/spiritual growth that comes with consistent practice. At the same time, I’ve learned to embrace whatever my practice looks like each time I step on the mat. The instructors and variety of classes at Belmont yoga are great, but the community is what I love most about the studio."

Thanksgiving weekend is quickly approaching! And we've got a special schedule for that weekend 🍁

> Select classes are on Wednesday and Friday -- check the online schedule for canceled classes

> We've got just one class on Thanksgiving Day: Gratitude Flow and Restore with -- a Vinyasa flow followed by a short Yin practice to help you ease into your holiday 🦃

> Tuesday 12/2 is the Belmont Christmas Parade, which means all evening classes will be canceled due to road closures

Remember, Planksgiving ends ON Thanksgiving this year, so get all of your planks in by then!

Our spotlight today found us earlier this year and has since made her practice a weekly priority. We've loved getting strong with her along the way, and we're so grateful to have her as part of our incredible community... meet Michelle!

"I enjoy starting my mornings going to BY because it is such a warm and welcoming environment. From the drive there to the peaceful vibes as soon as I enter the establishment, it brings a sense of serenity and grounding energy to my day! I faithfully attend the morning Pilates classes with Aletheia. I love how intentional the class is and how she guides us through each movement. This practice as a whole has helped me build strength and security within my body. So thankful to have found BY!"

A Different Kind of Yoga Studio

Belmont Yoga is your downtown community yoga studio and retail shop. We offer a wide variety of yoga classes and workshops for all ages. Our store offerings include yoga gear, apparel, CBD products, locally-made art, jewelry, wellness items and more!

Co-owners and Belmont residents Michelle LoSardo and Cory Miller founded Belmont Yoga with one thing in mind: add to the already amazing Belmont community. We want this to be so much more than a yoga studio. We want to foster a sense of community, where we get to know you and you get to know us. We want you to feel comfortable trying a new class or workshop, knowing that you will not be judged. We want you to stop by to browse our local products, regardless if you attend a yoga class (or even like yoga!). We want you to pop in just to say a quick hello. In short, we want it to feel like home when you walk in the door.

Yoga is not about mastering a headstand or who can chant the loudest; it’s about connection, community and self-awareness. It’s about maintaining your physical and mental health, while letting yourself grow and experience new things. It’s about staying present on your mat, and then taking new perspectives off your mat to change the world around you. Whatever your reason for coming to yoga, know that you have a safe space to practice at Belmont Yoga. We can’t wait to meet you!
