Mission trip to Guatemala.✝️ Salad dressing.🥗 Weekend movement.🏃♀️
Mission Trip:
The men's group I participate in needs some assistance. I've attached a list of items and a flyer with a QR code for donations if you are moved to do so. 😊 You can drop off any donated items at either the Belmont or Gun Lake clinic locations.❤️ Last day to drop off items will be May 28th at Gun Lake and May 29th at Embrace.
Everyday Salad Dressing:
Fresh veggie season is coming! Here is a simple and delicious salad recipe. Enjoy!🤤
Ingredients:
3 Tablespoons of olive oil
1 Small garlic clove pressed or minced
1 Tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 Teaspoon of Dijion mustard
½ Teaspoon of fine salt
¼ Teaspoon of fresh cracked pepper
Instructions:
Whisk all ingredients in a small bowl and transport into a small, sealed jar.
Good for 7 days.
Movement:
This Saturday looks like we will have amazing weather! Get out a move! If you are working in the yard, please take it easy and warm the body up for the workload. It’s been in hibernation since winter. Here is a simple warm up to wake the body up before you rake the leaves or discover doggy surprises that were hidden by the snow! 🐕😂
Spring Warm Up:
10-minute walk
2-minutes of cat/cow
2-minute frog stretch
2-minute pigeon stretch left/right
Then 3 rounds of:
10 air squats (to chair if needed)
10 push-ups (against wall if needed)
10 lunges with twist total
10 jumping jacks
