What a welcome corporate neighbor and lovely addition to our historic downtown

It just seems like words aren’t enough. But I will do my best. SEVEN YEARS!

We are celebrating seven years today! Our store has made it through a pandemic, a move to a new location, a name change, an economic crisis, and all the ups and downs of a (dental hygienist by trade) newbie learning a business that she’s always wanted to be a part of, but didn’t know where to begin.

I started this business when I turned 40. (oops just let out a little secret there about my age lol) and since day one we have hit the ground running. I started it out of my home, the local support was tremendous. We quickly were offered a spot in a nearby, small town which I loved! But the opportunity to move closer to home, presented itself, and we made our home in Belmont ever since!! I cannot thank my customers enough for your love, support, and repeat buying! That’s what keeps this store in business. YOU literally keep the store going.

Thank you to my employees that have become my friends! I strive to be better for you and am inspired by your efforts and loyalty!! Love y’all!!

I also cannot thank God enough for blessing the work that we’ve all put into it. I look daily to God for discernment, guidance, and ultimately His provision. Praying today that this business blesses and honors Him as we embark on the year ahead!!

Here in Downtown Belmont, we are traveling back in time again for Throwback Thursday. This time we are traveling to the past of 7 - 9 North Main Street to tell a little of these buildings' history.

These locations have seen a variety of businesses in the past. The first location of the Belmont Drug Store began here however, most remember the spaces as Western Auto (which at the time sold everything from bicycles to TVs), Cohen's Dress Shop & Mr. Paul's Bicycle Shop though.

Now today this block of Downtown Belmont houses the South Point Pet Hospital, Belmont Bookshop, and Belletique.
