Not all contact lenses are created equal 👁️✨

This custom scleral lens may look small, but for this patient it was life-changing. Their cornea is extremely steep and irregular, making vision with traditional glasses and soft contact lenses nearly impossible.

After a highly customized fit, Dr. Kasia designed a scleral lens that vaults over the irregular cornea to provide clearer, more functional vision and improved comfort. 🙌

Cases like this are why specialty contact lenses can be such a game changer for patients with keratoconus and irregular corneas.

Sometimes a routine eye exam is anything but routine.

This patient came in noticing changes in his vision—and during testing, Dr. Brady identified a bilateral homonymous hemianopsia, a pattern that can point to something neurological rather than just an eye issue. Because of that finding, we were able to quickly coordinate an MRI… which revealed a pituitary tumor in his brain.

Stories like this are why comprehensive eye exams matter. We’re not just checking vision—we’re evaluating how the eyes and brain work together, and sometimes that can be life-changing (and lifesaving).

We’re so grateful this was caught when it was, and we’re cheering him on in his recovery journey. 💙
