Let's welcome Isaac Evenson to our team!

Isaac Evenson, LPC-IT, is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Training who earned his Master's degree in Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Isaac works with individuals ages 6 and up and helps clients navigate concerns such as grief and loss, anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and neurodivergences. Isaac approaches therapy with the belief that meaningful change begins with feeling understood and having space to explore one's story. He works collaboratively with clients to create a supportive environment where they can better understand patterns in their lives and develop practical tools for growth. His therapeutic approach integrates perspectives from evidence-based practices such as psychodynamic therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Isaac believes that while life often brings hardship and uncertainty, every person has the capacity for growth and healing. With patience, curiosity, and a willingness to do the work, even difficult experiences can become opportunities for deeper insight and meaningful change. This is best expressed in song lyrics from Isaac's favorite band Cloud Cult, "Somebody turn the lights out, there's so much more to see in the darkest places".

Outside of the therapy room, Isaac enjoys music, art, traveling, spending time in nature, and has a deep love for animals. As a musician and lover of the outdoors, he appreciates the ways creativity and connection to nature can support well-being.
