Supporting the Spirit of Life

Beloit Regional Hospice is a non-profit organization that provides expert medical care, pain management, emotional and spiritual support to those coping with a life limiting illness and their families. To be eligible for Beloit Regional Hospice, the patient must:

—Reside in Rock, Green, Walworth, Boone, McHenry, Winnebago, or Stevenson county

—Have a physician-diagnosed life expectancy of six months or less

—Be seeking comfort and quality of life, rather than life-prolonging care

Each year, Hendricks Commercial Properties selects an organization to support during the holidays, and this Christmas they chose Beloit Regional Hospice. 💜 Residents within their communities lovingly shopped for our patients, and yesterday they delivered the donated items. We are incredibly grateful for their generosity and kindness this season.

Kelly was recognized with an Engagement Corporate Value Pin.

Jessica Wulf, a colleague, wrote the following about Kelly.

“Kelly was seen living the values of Beloit Health System and Beloit Regional Hospice when she personally volunteered to deliver something to a hospice patient after her shift was done. The request from the patient for needed medical supplies came through late in the day and Kelly knew it would be a difficult task to assign during change of shift, causing a delay for the patient. Without hesitation or even being asked, Kelly took the initiative to volunteer herself! She was able to connect with a patient that she had spoken to on the phone, and that was a personal touch that meant a lot to this patient and family. The patient passed away the next day, but not without exactly what she needed thanks to Kelly!”

We were honored to grant a wish for Darlene as she celebrated her 103rd birthday! She enjoyed her first-ever manicure and a day surrounded by family, friends, neighbors, and staff. 💖
