Baylei worked so hard this morning with her mini snow shovel. She’s always been our big helper. ❄️ And a big thank you to Barry for all the work he does at all our businesses and home.

When we purchased our Downs location we added new curtains and a Tv into the chapel. The purpose of the tv is to show tribute videos during visitations. I personally have gotten a lot of use out of it as I have a couple favorite artists always on repeat.

Anyone out there guilty of cranking the music up on your clean and restock mornings?

I’ve only had a couple times when someone came through the door and may have thought, what in the world is she doing in that funeral home?!

I know it’s a sad place for many to visit, but I get a lot of joy from providing from this holy place.

The other day we went out for supper as a family and stopped by the funeral home so Barry could help me move a casket into our show room.

I gave my daughter Daynica my phone to hold onto until I was done. And to my finding she took these short snippets of me getting this casket ready to show.
I know our kids admire us for the work we do. They have been blessed to see it first hand from behind the scenes.
