Love was definitely in the air at Rockland Ridge today! 💘

Our staff enjoyed a Valentine’s Dessert Bar filled with sweet treats because they deserve all the sweetness! 🍰 We also made sure they know they’re “turtley awesome!” 🐢💌

Our residents celebrated with a Valentine’s Party full of laughter, music, and smiles that could melt any heart. ❤️

Days like today remind us that love isn’t just a holiday. It’s the care, kindness, and joy shared in our halls every single day. 💕

Feeling extra loved this Valentine’s Day 💌

A huge shout-out to Sophie from our Activities team, who teamed up with her Occupational Therapy club from Ohio University to create the sweetest Valentine’s cards for our residents. ❤️

Sophie is currently studying to become an Occupational Therapist, and it truly shows. Her kindness, creativity, and heart for others shine in everything she does. We know our residents will be so touched by this thoughtful surprise!

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Meet Carri Rector! 🌟

We’re excited to shine the spotlight on Carri Rector, a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in our Therapy Department here at Rockland Ridge. Carri has been part of our team for about a year and a half and brings with her an impressive 13 years of experience in long-term care, including home health.

What Carri loves most about her work is the patients. She truly enjoys helping them build strength and confidence so they can return home or regain as much independence as possible. Her dedication and encouragement make a meaningful difference in the lives of those she works with every day.

Outside of work, Carri stays just as active! She loves working out, spending time with her family, fishing, hunting, and even boxing with her son and husband. 💪🎣🥊

We are so grateful to have Carri as part of the Rockland Ridge family. Her passion for therapy, energy, and commitment to our residents make her an incredible asset to our team! 💛

Congratulations to our January Employee of the Month, Connie Semelsberger! 🎉 Connie works in Housekeeping and Laundry and is known for always being willing to jump in and help out wherever she’s needed. She brings such a positive attitude to work each day. She is always joking and connecting with our residents, creating smiles wherever she goes.

Connie’s kindness, energy, and willingness to help do not go unnoticed. Our residents adore her, and our team knows they can always count on her positive spirit.

This week, we’re celebrating our amazing Activities Team for Activity Professionals Week, and words truly aren’t enough. 💙

To Ashlye, Kelly, Alexa, and Sophia - thank you for the passion, creativity, and love you pour into our residents every single day. You don’t just plan activities… you create moments, connections, and memories that mean the world. The smiles, laughter, and joy you bring into this building are truly priceless.

To show just a small piece of our appreciation, we treated these ladies to Texas Roadhouse and surprised them with a personalized gift, because the care and heart they give deserve to be celebrated in return. 🤍

We are so thankful for each of them and so proud to have them on our team.
