We know that there are many issues regarding lens fog due to the wearing of masks. And yes we are hoping you are doing that😉
We are getting a product soon to remedy fog on lenses. Stay tuned for that. In the meantime be leary of anything you are reading on social media about other ways to solve this problem. If you have anti-reflective treatment on your lenses these other remedies may damage your lenses. Just call us if you have questions.
Also a quick tip about fog. If you wear a mask with a metal piece on the nose just pinch it tightly and that should help a lot. The "steam" from our breath is the culprit. And for all you anti-maskers out there...that "steam" is the way we are transmitting this stupid virus.

Please remember you MUST wear a mask if you enter our office. This is for the protection of our employees and doctor. If we contract this virus we have to shut down and appointments would be cancelled for an undetermined length of time. Help us serve you by wearing a mask.

We have had inquiries for appointments and since we require a face mask here is an easy method of making one if you are in need of one to visit our practice.

We will opening our office back up on Monday May 11th with a modified schedule for now. All our services will be by appointment only as we are not allowing any walk-ins at this time. If you need to pick up glasses or need an adjustment you will have to call to schedule an appointment. Thank you for bearing with us as we try to move toward getting back to normal.

Due to CDC requirements we are limiting our office hours even further this week. We will be open this Monday thru Thursday 10am to 1pm for PICK UP ONLY! The office will then be closed till further notice. Thank you for being understanding and please stay safe!

I am so excited to introduce our new recycling program for contact lense wearers. Just bring in all your used contact lense materials; the foils, plastic containers and even old lenses themselves, and we will send it all in to be recycled. Doing our part to reduce waste! Polarized lenses have a specific chemical in them that filter light in order to eliminate reflection. The polarization assures that only certain light rays approach your eyes, thus protecting them even more! For example- if a fisherman is wearing normal sunglasses, while focusing on the water, all he will see is white (just bright light because of the reflection). But if he is wearing polarized sunglasses, he can see his next big catch! But even if you're not a fisherman, you'll love em'! Another example-If you're looking directly at the fender on a vehicle on a sunny day, with regular glasses, ouch! But... If you have your polarized sun wear on, no worries!
