We ended our fun filled week celebrating National Skilled Nursing Care Week watching Wicked, eating popcorn and cotton candy!

The Great and Powerful Oz came for a visit with shoutouts to the staff for all their hard work.

Big Shoutouts to Brighton Hospice for playing along with our shenanigans and proving ice cream and St. Croix Hospice for the lunch and learn! We appreciate you guys!

Thanks to all our AMAZING RESIDENTS AND STAFF. We wouldn’t be who we are without you all!! 😘 ❤️

As part of our Day 4 celebrations for National Skilled Nursing Care Week, we organized a lively animal parade, showcasing Lions & Tigers & Bears…… and leopards, giraffes, frogs, zebras, cheetahs OH MY!!!

Residents and staff enthusiastically participated in the procession through the building, concluding the event outside, where they indulged in Animal Crackers 🐻 while basking in the BEAUTIFUL weather. ☀️

We also conducted a Name That Animal Sound activity, which demonstrated the residents' impressive knowledge of animal sounds.

Tomorrow…..Follow the Yellow Brick Road to Fun! We might get a special visit from the Great and Powerful OZ himself! Will all the Wicked/OZ characters be in attendance as well? Check back tomorrow for pics! 🧙

We're celebrating Day 3 of National Skilled Nursing Care Week!

Taste the Rainbow of Oz 🌈

The Therapy Department led the way with a Flying Monkey Target Challenge. Residents took pleasure in hurling monkeys. 🐵

Afterwards, an Ice Cream social was held. It was pretty chill…. (See what I did there…. Chill…. Ice cream…ok, ok!)

Day 2 of National Skilled Nursing Care Week

Twister Tuesday! 🌪️ Some of the staff and residents got caught in the crazy twister causing crazy hair & mismatched clothes! It was a doozy!

We sang our hearts out during Karaoke 🎤(Special thanks to DJ Barb) and enjoyed pasteries from our very own pastry chef! (Which we forgot to take a pic of 😢. (Thank you chef Steven!)

Tomorrow…… Taste the Rainbow of Oz…..(aka ice cream bar with all the fixings) 🍨 Rumor has it the Therapy Department is up to no good and having some Flying Monkey Target Challenge!! 🙈🙊🙉

This Week We Celebrate National Skilled Nursing Care Week!!
Our Theme: "Wicked Wizard of Oz" where we combine the movies Wicked & Wizard of Oz.

We kicked off Monday with Breakfast in Emerald City... Yum!
Later the Lollipop Guild Candy Cart paid a visit to residents and staff!

Tomorrow is Twister Tuesday......something about a POPULAR MAKEOVER and who has the best hair flip! Heard there might be a Karaoke Contest too!?! Stay tuned for more pics throughout the week!
