Deputy Brandon Mellinger was a Sergeant with Cass County Sheriff’s Department for 6 years and battled brain cancer for 5 1/2 years while with the Sheriff’s Department. Brandon was a lifelong resident of Belton. Brandon passed away on January 23, 2001. This page and golf tournament is in the memory of Brandon and to assist other officers and their families who are battling life-threatening illnesse

s. Thanks to your donations, in past years, the tournament has helped eight different families with medical expenses that range from $50,000 to $100,000. This tournament could not be a success without your help.
