Celebrating Older Americans Month 2026 🌟

This May, we proudly recognize Older Americans Month, led by the Administration for Community Living (ACL), and celebrate the strength, wisdom, and contributions of older adults throughout our communities.

This year’s theme, “Champion Your Health,” encourages older adults to take an active role in their well-being through prevention, wellness, and informed decision-making. Healthy aging starts with advocating for yourself, staying connected, accessing preventive care, and making choices that support independence and quality of life.

At the Central Texas Area Agency on Aging, we remain committed to supporting older adults through programs and services that promote healthy aging, caregiver support, nutrition, wellness education, Medicare assistance, and community engagement.

Together, let’s continue building healthier, stronger communities where older adults can thrive. 💙
