What an inspiration! This teen patient was scheduled for surgery then she found our CLEAR Scoliosis Treatment program. After a two-week intensive treatment her curve went from 52*, 34* to 45*, 31*. Shortly after the intensive treatment she started with her ScoliBrace which brings her curve to 30*, 22* while in-brace. SURGERY CANCELED! I’m so excited to see where her journey takes her. One thing is for sure - this young lady is an inspiration and she is shining her light bright for others!

Wanted to give a BIG shout out to this Dedicated Warrior! She has severe Scoliosis. She had a 76 degree lumbar curve and 65 degree thoracic curve at the beginning of her treatment journey with us at 50 years old. She has been working diligently with her treatment wearing her ScoliBrace and doing her home therapy exercises. She is already accomplishing results that some would say are impossible. At her last update her curves were 61 Thoracic and 69 lumbar. She is a gal after my own heart. If you desire change you have to put in the work and she is! “If you have scoliosis this is where you belong for healing and treatment! Don't miss your chance at a new life. I just completed a 2 week intensive program with Dr. Nick, Marce and support team Mary and Nancy. Super blessed by this opportunity to visit Missouri in the Kansas City area to be treated for my severe scoliosis. I have a 76 degree lumbar and 65 degree thoracic, at age 49 and I improved in the program with so many modalities. Knowing my Scolibrace can possibly get me to a 63 degree lumbar or maybe even less, over time is exciting. It might take a year but if that moves me into less curve, compared to my curve increasing over time, then this is time and money well spent. Living in pain for years drains a person, and it's discouraging to follow a typical Ortho model that says if you can manage life and pain just do your best with whatever you find like PT and when it worsens badly enough then a surgeon will gladly fuse rods to your spine. Our Chiropractic and Scoliosis rehab clinic will be in need of a detail oriented, reliable person to be our reception and billing specialist. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in accurate and thoughtful work — and ultimately enjoys helping people find hope in the care we provide.

About the role:
The Reception-Billing specialist will support our clinic by managing patient billing, processing claims, maintaining accurate records, assuring smooth financial operations, scheduling and following up with patients, and at times helping with patient therapies.

What we are looking for:
- Strong attention-to-detail
- Experience in medical/Chiropractic insurance billing
- Comfort in using Electronic Health Records and billing software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Customer service-focused
- Positive, team-centered attitude
- an appreciation/respect for Chiropractic and natural healthcare
- long-term team member

Position Details:
- Hours: ~30 hrs per week
- Work environment: family-like staff working with a lower-volume patient flow
- Weekends off

The Crooked Life Foundation with the help of our Partners: BackGenius, Dr. Nick Weddle of ScoliosisKC, and our AWESOME Donors, we will be providing a Scoliosis Activity Suit to someone in need!

HOPE is an unexplainable joy! I desire other Scoliosis Warriors to be able to experience it; so I started a Scoliosis Charity in Kansas City, Missouri. There is HOPE, but not everyone can afford to access it! Each time we raise enough funds to provide a Scoliosis Activity Suit- we open it up for story submissions to select a recipient.

My charity is in Missouri, so I’m looking for Warriors who are able to travel to Kansas City at a minimal expense to meet with us, get fitted by our partner, Dr. Nick Weddle, and do an interview about your story/experience. The charity is unable to cover travel expenses, so if you’re submitting your story you should be able to travel to ScoliosisKC in Kansas City at minimal cost (you should be able to get to the office by vehicle - not a costly flight.) We meet with each recipient in person for accountability, to get the recipient personally fitted by a doctor and get them started on a new journey of HOPE!

Story Submissions are OPEN through “Feb 22nd” AND the recipient will be announced on Feb 27th!

Exciting News: Monday, Jan. 26th ScoliosisKC will appear on FOX 4”s Great Day KC show that starts at 11am. They did an on-site interview with Dr. Nick and the mom of one of our teen patient’s. They filmed some of our therapies as well. Can’t wait to spread awareness of our non-surgical treatment of Scoliosis. If you’re not local you can still watch online on FOX 4’s website.

We are very excited to announce FOX 4 was at our office today for an on-site interview about our Scoliosis Treatment Program. Dr. Nick & Robin (the mom of a teen patient) was interviewed. They also filmed some of the treatment therapies. The interview will appear on the Great Day KC show on Fox 4 next week. We will post once we know the exact date and time. I’m so happy to spread the message of HOPE and that there is another treatment option other than surgery.

Our hearts rejoice today for this 12-year-old who was scheduled for surgery at the end of this month, but instead has started a new journey of HOPE! She started with our CLEAR Scoliosis Treatment Program which is exercise/therapy based. Her thoracic curve was 52 deg and reduced to 45 deg with our 2-week intensive program, but we’ve only begun. Next we are adding the ScoliBrace and are hopeful to achieve more reduction. Seeing the joyful tears that filled her mom’s eyes today was another reminder of the importance of this work! It’s Hard!!! But the hard work leads to lives changed. That’s a calling each of us here feel led to be apart of. ❤️
