✨ Healing from the inside out starts before the incision. ✨
One of the most powerful tools I’ve discovered on my healing journey is intentional fasting—not as a trend, but as a way to reset the body, reduce inflammation, and prepare for deep recovery.
When done mindfully and with nourishment in mind, fasting can:
• Calm the digestive system
• Lower systemic inflammation
• Support immune balance
• Boost cellular repair through autophagy
• Improve insulin sensitivity and blood sugar regulation
It’s especially helpful in the weeks leading up to surgery—giving your body a clean, calm, and supported foundation for healing. Just 12–16 hours of fasting once or twice depending on how far you are from your surgery can help you reset, paired with whole, healing foods, can make a noticeable difference in how you recover.
I’ve seen the difference firsthand—clearer mind, reduced swelling, and a gut that feels calm and reset.
Your healing starts before the procedure. Give your body the gift of rest, nourishment, and intention.
