Today's Topic: Athlete's Foot
A very common foot condition that can also be highly contagious.

Athlete's Foot is common in people who sweat a lot or walk in damp areas. So if you're a diver or shower at your gym without shoes, think again. This is a type of fungal infection, that is normally found in between your toes.

Those with these conditions may experience blisters, itchiness and peeling skin of the foot.

If you have this condition, please come in our office as it is a common condition that Dr. Deiboldt treats. In the meantime, try to keep your feet dry and clean. But if this doesn't work it is best for you to see a podiatrist to get oral antifungal medications.
