There's still time to register for our February 3 anxiety workshop!
An event intended for Christians who would like to know more about what's going on in our brains and bodies and what the Bible has to say about it, too. (But all are welcome to come learn!)
(Teaser: We don't believe that your body's anxiety response is inherently sinful. God loves you, and softly draws near with his frequent encouragement, "Do not be afraid, for I am with you." Your nervous system was wired for connection - with people, and with God's Holy Spirit.)
If you or a loved one experiences anxiety, you might benefit from this Saturday morning seminar.
- You'll come away with ideas about how to be supportive and helpful, without coming across as dismissive or trite.
- You'll learn why it doesn't always work to "logic" your way from anxiety to peace.
- We'll put some practical tools in your hands for grounding your nervous system after its been triggered.
If you've ever been curious about your "hardware" (nervous system) and the "software" running on it (anxiety triggers, fight or flight mode, nervous system injuries such as trauma), come and join us for the workshop and Q&A.
