Tech Neck & Screen Time Strain
📱 Is your phone becoming a pain in the neck?
Most of us spend 3–5 hours a day looking down at screens — phones, tablets, computers — and that posture adds up!
When you tilt your head forward even just 45 degrees, the weight your neck supports jumps from about 10–12 pounds to as much as 50–60 pounds of pressure. Over time, this causes:
➡️ Tightness and soreness across the shoulders
➡️ Stiffness or burning pain at the base of the neck
➡️ Headaches, fatigue, and even early disc wear
You might not feel it all at once, but your spine does! That repeated forward bend is called “tech neck,” and it’s one of the most common posture issues we see in the office today.
✅ Try these quick fixes:
• Keep your screen at eye level — raise it instead of looking down
• Take a 30-second posture break every half hour
• Gently stretch the neck backward after extended screen time
• Stay active — movement keeps spinal joints healthy and flexible
Chiropractic adjustments help relieve pressure on the neck joints, restore natural curve, and improve posture — so your spine can handle your digital life pain-free.
If you’re noticing more stiffness or tension than you used to, it might be time for a spinal tune-up.
