We had a busy and fulfulling week thanks to our recent beautiful warm weather and time spent with great friends. Yesterday residents enjoyed a lunch outing to a local favorite, Boone County Family restaurant. We also took advantage of the sunshine today and went on a local history adventure. Belvidere is the city of murals and we were able to admire all of them while learning a little about each one along the way. Of course we had to stop at another local favorite for their delicious ice cream; Sips and Sprinkles. We are looking forward to all the other adventures this coming summer will bring. Yesterday afternoon we had the privilege of competing in the Affordable Assisted Living Coalition 2026 Words & Wisdom competition. Our team, The Wisdom Seekers, did an amazing job and we are so proud of them! They studied for hours on end, coming together as a strong team, and it showed. It was a fun filled day for sure.

We had such a wonderful time at our annual Easter Egg Hunt! The weather was perfect, the kids had a blast, and a special visit from the Easter Bunny brought so many smiles to our residents and families.
