Pumpkin season is in full swing and we're loving it. Our Culinary Director, Nicole, showed residents how to make these delicious and healthy pumpkin muffins. We had a great time learning about certain subsitutions to make recipes healthier and tasting these yummy treats.

Today was World kindness day. Here at Heritage Woods of Belvidere, kindness is extrememly important to us. We love to spread the message to Be Kind every day but today we went the extra mile to make someone smile. Residents wrapped sweet treats with even sweeter messages and gave them out to make someones day. We think the big smiles and bright eyes on everyones faces says it all. Something as simple as a little candy and a kind smile can mean the world to a person. How were you kind today?
