April 20th through the 26th is Volunteer Week. Let's celebrate and recognize the contribution volunteers make to our Gentiva Belville team. Volunteers make courtesy calls to patients and families or make visits to them at the nursing home or their home. The visits provide socialization, companionship, and respite for the families. Hospice Care Coordinators Robert Simmons at the Pender Memorial Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility and Sarah Thompson at the Brunswick Center at Leland Senior Citizen Center were assisted by Monica Cox with a seashell craft during recent visits.
