Green Oaks Physical Therapy was started in 2000 with the mission of serving the local community with exceptional physical therapy care. Today we have multiple locations throughout the DFW metroplex carrying on our initial purpose, serving the local community with exceptional physical therapy care. We provide a patient-centered, hands-on approach to physical therapy, sports medicine, and industrial rehabilitation care in the convenience of your own hometown. Our clinicians are all highly skilled and compassionate caregivers who take great pride in helping our clients return back to their way of life, sport, and/or work.

This kid has come a long way! 👏
Day 1, we could barely touch his shoulder it was so painful. -> 9 weeks later we’ve progressed to the return-to-throwing phase. Getting him back to pitching and golfing (with realistic expectations…no fast balls for a while).
Young throwers often don’t have great balance, scapular stability, core stability, or hip strength. It’s not all about the arm and shoulder! Core, hip, and scapula are the base from which a good arm throws.

Ball toss! Always a fun and engaging exercise for balance. Works the oculomotor system which is important for balance, and works proprioception with changes in center of mass with reaching and throwing.
