Clubhouse Foster - My Mental Health Central Oregon is seeking a part-time caregiver. We are a Licensed Adult Foster Home on the Eastside of Bend. We house and provide services to people who struggle with mental illness with the goal to help them regain independence and teach them life skills. 🧠🫶🏻👔

ISO - Part-Time caregivers for weekends, you CAN bring your child if you have one, making it ideal for moms that want to make money who have kids. This is a homelike environment. I bring my own kids (nephews) to work from time to time.

This is NOT APD (Aging/Adults with Physical Dissabilities) work, there is no physical heavy lifting or physical contact with the resident. They are 100% independent, many of them have day jobs and participate in daily activities outside of the home.

Some of the daily job duties entail cooking lunch/dinner, providing medications to the resident in pill form, using the company car to take them out shopping, medical documentation also known as the MAR (Medical Administration Record), verbal prompts for them to practice proper hygiene, assist with scheduling of appointments/rides, light housekeeping and meal planning/preparation.

Qualifications: Must be able to pass a criminal background check, first aid certification, CPR Certification, resident of Oregon/Washington.

This is an entry level position and does not require a degree.

We are looking for part-time or full-time employees, split shifts and overnights are available. We also have a resident manager position available that pays a salary and includes your own separate living quarters in the house.

Pay: $18-$21 DOE paid bi-weekly, plus a $40 flat fee for overnight shifts. $1000 SIGN ON BONUS after completion of all training, cleared background check and 180 days of continued employment to employees in good standing.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. 🫶🏽🧠💞

‼️ • 1 in 5 adults and children in the USA experience a mental illness. • 1/2 of all chronic mental illness begins by the age of 14 & 3/4 by the age of 24. • Su***de is the 10th leading cause of death in the USA. • Over 1.7 million youth with major depressive episodes did not receive treatment. ‼️

Mental Illnesses are medical illnesses with biological and physiological origins like ALL other illnesses, treatment is necessary.

Break the stigma, seek help, talk to a friend or family member. ❣️

Introductions: Meet Loren, Executive Assistant/Resident Manager of My Mental Health Oregon. Loren has been with us for over two years, upon her arrival from Boston she has excelled in all aspects of the job, most importantly building meaningful-lasting relationships with clients promoting their overall growth and wellbeing in the program. Loren’s role has been crucial to our daily operation, from hiring new employees, to scheduling, to medical administration and even developing new policies and procedures to better the level of care that we provide to our clients. ❤️🏥💊

When she is not running the daily operation at our SE Bend location, she’s often traveling our beautiful state camping and paddle boarding with her main squeeze/step child Chester. 🐶

Fun Fact: She’s also our niece and is going to school for Business Management. 💁🏽‍♀️

Roxy goes above and beyond as a caregiver, provider and owner/manager, ensuring that we not only meet industry standards but exceed them. The program that Roxy has created and custom tailored has provided many past clients with a second chance at independent living and managing their own mental health. ❤️🏥💊

When he is not running the daily operation, you can find him out exploring beautiful Central Oregon with his two dogs Chester and Winston. 🐶
