Winter on the farm is for tulips! Grown hydroponically in our garage.

This is the second year of growing and while I am still learning - the pop of color in the middle of our Central Oregon winter is a joy! Even if this winter's warmth is a.little unsettling.

These tulips will be heading to a local central Oregon florist for Valentine's day.

These four lavender bunches are headed to for the Saturday Flower Market.

And there's more where that came from! The lavender fields are open today from 10am to 2pm for U-cut. Walk the lavender fields while they are in bloom. The season is fast, don't miss it.

Eric will be running our small copper still down at the farm stand, so if you're interested to see essential oil being made, be sure to stop by today.
